Tutor Match Program

Beacon tutors deeply read and understand their student’s IEP or service plan in order to deliver targeted instruction designed specifically for the child’s learning style. Tutors initially collaborate with the the student’s family to identify learning obectives, then ensure progress is made by consistently monitoring and collecting data.  Tutors are often asked to develop a written report for submission at IEP meetings that can be useful for informing the team on the student’s abilities and inform effective instructional strategies. 

All tutors are have a master’s degree or equivalent teaching credential from an accredited program.
